Sam smiled seeing Quinn preparing his medicine, he couldn’t express how much he loved her in that moment. She was with him when he needed her the most, she accepted him just the way he was, she was so perfect for him. “No, that’s all. Thank you again, I’m so lucky to have you.” He said honestly with a small smile. His smile widened when he heard that she’d be back. “Okay, see you in an hour, right?” he asked and watched her leaving his dorm.
Sam slept really well, that was exactly what he needed. He kept thinking about the flu all the time and was doing everything to forget about how he felt but that didn’t work so he was glad to get some rest. He woke up after he heard that something was set down his desk. He blinked a few times and yawned. “Quinn?” he asked stretching out. “You were right. I really needed some sleep.” He added and glanced at her and then at the desk. “What…what is this?” his eyes widened in shock and he immediately got out of his bed. “You bought them?” he looked towards Quinn, still extremely surprised. Sam knew that she went shopping but he didn’t expect her to buy him comic books. So many comic books. “Wow, this is the new Superman series!” he exclaimed seeing the cover of one of the comics. “Quinn…but that…that must have cost a lot!” he knew that comic books weren’t that cheap, and he didn’t want her to spend so much money on him.
“You don’t have to thank me, Sam.” Quinn said with a small smile. She wasn’t there because she had to be, she wanted to be there to make sure that he was alright. He probably wouldn’t have eaten if she hadn’t stopped by with food, and she felt like she had to take of him. “You wanted me to take care of you, so I am. It’s what I’m here to do. Of course I’ll be back in an hour, I’m not going to leave you when you’re like this.”
“Are you feeling any better? The medicine should have kicked in by now.” She said, bringing her hand to the top of Sam’s head to check his fever. “Of course I bought them, I certainly didn’t steal them!” She said with a soft laugh. She didn’t mind buying them for him, she wanted him to feel better, and these were hopefully going to make him feel better. “They’re okay? I wasn’t sure what ones to get, they guy in the store said that these might be okay.” She said, a little unsure. She knew nothing about comic books, so she could only hope that they were okay. “It doesn’t matter what the cost, I want you to feel better. I hope that they help.” She shrugged. “Are you feeling any better?”
